Darryl Nepinak, originaire de la Première Nation de Skownan, est né et a grandi à Winnipeg, au Manitoba. Zwei Indianer Aus Winnipeg, un court métrage commandé par le festival imagineNATIVE Film and Media Arts, a été sélectionné pour le Festival international du film de Berlin 2009.
Divya Mehra (née en 1981 à Winnipeg) est connue pour l’attention méticuleuse qu’elle porte à l’interaction entre la forme, le support et le lieu. Sa pratique allie une précision critique à un humour désarmant et caustique pour donner naissance à des réflexions d’une complexité trompeuse sur des thèmes tels que la violence raciale, le pillage colonial, le déplacement et le deuil.
Drew Durepos est un cinéaste et enseignant basé à Chicago. Ses films ont été projetés dans des festivals tels que le London Short Film Festival, le Chicago Underground Film Festival, l’Athens International Film & Video Festival, le Drunken Film Fest Oakland, le Winnipeg Underground Film Festival, le FIDBA International Documentary Film Festival (Buenos Aires) et l’Onion City Experimental Film Festival (Chicago). En 2018, il a obtenu un master en arts cinématographiques à l’université du Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Il enseigne à l’université DePaul et fait partie du collectif de programmation Nightingale Projects.
Maura Jasper est une artiste plasticienne qui travaille avec les médias temporels et les projets participatifs. Ses œuvres ont été exposées et projetées à l’Artists Space, à l’Electronic Arts Intermix, au Vox Populi et à l’Institute of Contemporary Art de Boston. Elle est également connue pour ses collaborations visuelles avec le groupe Dinosaur Jr. Originaire de Worcester, dans le Massachusetts, elle vit et travaille à Troy, dans l’État de New York.
Damien Ferland est né et a grandi à Winnipeg. Il s’est toujours intéressé au cinéma, même si cet intérêt restait parfois en périphérie. En 2001, il a finalement réalisé que faire des films était sa vocation et a suivi des cours de cinéma à l’Université de Winnipeg. Depuis l’obtention de son diplôme en 2005, il réalise des courts métrages, des clips musicaux et deux saisons de sa série web autobiographique, Hyper-Distracted.

Darryl Nepinak, from Skownan First Nation, was born ‘n raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Zwei Indianer Aus Winnipeg, a short film commissioned by the imagine NATIVE Film and Media Arts Festival, was selected for the 2009 Berlin International Film Festival.
Divya Mehra (b. 1981, Winnipeg) is known for her meticulous attention to the interaction of form, medium, and site. Her practice combines critical precision with a disarming, acerbic humour to produce deceptively complex meditations on subjects including racial violence, colonial theft, displacement, and grief.
Drew Durepos is a Chicago-based filmmaker and educator. His films have screened at festivals such as London Short Film Festival, Chicago Underground Film Festival, Athens International Film & Video Festival, Drunken Film Fest Oakland, Winnipeg Underground Film Festival, FIDBA International Documentary Film Festival (Buenos Aires), and Onion City Experimental Film Festival (Chicago). In 2018, he received his MFA in Cinematic Arts from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. He teaches at DePaul University and is a member of the Nightingale Projects programming collective.
Maura Jasper is a visual artist working with time-based media and participatory projects. Her work has been exhibited and screened at Artists Space, Electronic Arts Intermix, Vox Populi, and the Institute of Contemporary Art Boston. She is also known for her visual collaborations with the band Dinosaur Jr. Originally from Worcester, MA, she lives and works in Troy, NY.
Damien Ferland was born and raised in Winnipeg. He has always had an interest in film even if it was in the periphery at times. In 2001 he finally realized that making films is what he should do and took film courses at the University of Winnipeg. Since graduating in 2005 he has been making short films, music videos, and two seasons/batches of his autobiographical web series, Hyper-Distracted.
