Zachary Epcar (né à San Francisco) est un cinéaste dont les œuvres ont été présentées lors des festivals internationaux de cinéma de Toronto, New York, Rotterdam, San Francisco, Vancouver, Édimbourg et Melbourne ; au Pacific Film Archive, à Media City, à IndieLisboa, au Crossroads de la SF Cinematheque, à l’European Media Art Festival, à EXiS, à 25 FPS ; ainsi que lors de projections individuelles au Museum of Contemporary Art de Chicago, au Museum of the Moving Image et à la Black Hole Cinematheque.
Zachary vit à Oakland, en Californie, où il est membre du collectif de programmation cinématographique Light Field. Ses films sont distribués par Light Cone (Paris).

Zachary Epcar (b. San Francisco) is a filmmaker whose work has screened at the international film festivals of Toronto, New York, Rotterdam, San Francisco, Vancouver, Edinburgh, and Melbourne; Pacific Film Archive, Media City, IndieLisboa, SF Cinematheque’s Crossroads, European Media Art Festival, EXiS, 25 FPS; and in solo screenings at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, Museum of the Moving Image, and Black Hole Cinematheque.
Zachary lives in Oakland, California where he is a member of the film programming collective Light Field. His films are distributed by Light Cone (Paris).
