Julie Murray
S’appuyant sur sa formation en beaux-arts, la cinéaste Julie Murray réalise de courtes œuvres expérimentales de nature poétique sur support numérique et analogique qui font appel aux empreintes texturales et aux limites de la forme en tant qu’élément essentiel du contenu pictural. Ses films argentiques et ses œuvres numériques ont été exposés dans de nombreux festivals à l’échelle nationale et internationale, notamment au New York Film Festival, au Hong Kong International Film Festival, au International Film Festival Rotterdam, au London Film Festival et au Flaherty Film Seminar. – VUCAVU

Drawing on her background in the Fine Arts, filmmaker Julie Murray makes short experimental works in digital and film media which are poetical in nature, engaging the textural imprints and limits of the form as an essential element of pictorial content.
